Chocolate Muffins recipe with yogurt

Recipe (12 muffins – If you have a scale use it for this recipe 🙂
1 3/4 cups (225 g) of All-purpose flour
3/4 cup (150 g) granulated sugar
3/8 cup (75 g) of brown sugar
1/2 cup (45 g) Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon (150 ml) of full-fat Vanilla Yogurt
1/4 cup (60 ml) of Canola Oil
3 medium eggs at room temperature
1/4 cup or /1/3 cup (40 -50 g) of Semi-sweet chocolate chips (54%) + more for topping
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a standard 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
In the large bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt add the granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
In another bowl whisk, the eggs using a hand whisk then add the vanilla yogurt, canola oil, and mix. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined with a spatula then add the chocolate chips.
Scoop the batter (using an ice cream scoop or two spoons) and fill the 3/4 of the muffin cups with batter. Place in the middle in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Top with Semi-sweet chocolate chips when the muffins are still warm. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool for about 5 minutes before removing the muffins from the pan; cool on a rack. Store them in an airtight container.
