CRISPY PORK CARNITAS MEXICAN SLOW COOKED PULLED PORK

INGREDIENTS:
Boneless Pork butt or pork shoulder 4-5 pounds
2 tablespoons of lard, for frying meat
1 Orange 🍊 or 1/2 cup orange juice
Mexican Coke Cola 1 can or 12 ounces
Tablespoon salt
5 cloves sliced garlic
4 bay leaves
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/4 cup water

Toppings- cilantro, onions, lime
Corn tortillas
Salsa – green ( I used my home salsa verde) I will link down below 💕

▶️Cut meat into large chunks.
▶️Add the all ingredients to slow cooker, except the lard.
▶️Slow cook on high 5 hours or until tender but not completely shredded.
▶️Fry meat in lard or oil until golden crisp on outside and tender in middle. About 5 minutes. Instead of frying, an other option is to broil the carnitas in the oven until golden if you want to skip the frying process.
▶️Toast or lightly fry tortillas
▶️assemble tacos and with toppings and enjoy!
